Envy Fisher from Lost In Translation is my pen pal, and she’s also one of my favourite Bloggers. I saw this post (click here to view) which I really liked; therefore, I thought I would have a go:
Answer everything honestly, then tag five people at the end.
What is something that is getting you down at the moment?
As I write this, I am in a transitional stage of my life; having finished my A levels, it’s Summer. I’m waiting for my results, and my Journalism course to start. I’m also applying for jobs. But I really miss a particular lesson, having somewhere to go to daily, and things to learn.
What is something that makes you happy?
Name 3 guilty pleasures.
- Bear yo-yos. I don’t eat them as much any more, but they are so addictive.
- Bright lipstick.
- Starting a new planner.
When was the last time you belly laughed?
Hmmm… weeks ago, during a last lesson at the college. The thing is, I’m not going to write what I was laughing at, as it was just a bit too not politically correct.
What is your biggest insecurity/fear?
My biggest fear…dying. There, I said it! I would like to believe that there is a God, because many people that I’ve met were larger than life characters. They can’t just disappear! I would also love to leave a legacy behind.
Name a song that always cheers you up when you’re down.
There are many, many songs that do this. Five are:
Left Outside Alone by Anastacia.
I’m In Love With My Car by Queen.
When I’m Alone by Lissie.
I Can’t Dance by Genesis
Embrace Me You Child by Carly Simon
Name 3 things you like about yourself
This was, I think, the hardest question for me to answer. I guess I like my Aspergers, my ability to write, and my sense of curiosity. (People may call it nosiness, but it has allowed me to interview people, go to concerts, etc..)
What is an achievement that has made you proud of yourself this year?
Going to Rowan Coleman’s book launch. And chatting to her without being anxious!
Tell us your happiest memory.
I have several; not one memory tops it. Seeing Anastacia’s Resurrection concert was quite significant; going to the Groucho likewise. I also loved meeting Brian May, getting a letter stating the offer of my column, interviewing Lissie, my politics class this past year…
