Blogger Box Swap From Neverland!

* First, I owe a MASSIVE apology to Jenny from Jenny In Neverland; this post was meant to go live Friday, as we agreed.

A little while ago, I started to post about ‘Blogger box swaps’ ; where Bloggers get together, decide a budget, and exchange boxes of surprise stuff (having agreed upon a theme.) This time, I paired up with Jenny from Jenny In Neverland (click here to see her blog.)  We agreed on a five pounds limit for stationery-and here is what was in my box!

Needless to say, I was very relieved for the bubble wrap; when I received this, it was pouring outside; the envelope it had come in has subsequently torn and/or been demolished by the rain… at least the goodies inside were dry!

Here’s what was inside:

Now, anyone who knows me will know that I am a ‘crazy cat lady’; therefore, I was delighted to receive these two (MASSIVE) pens. Although I couldn’t fit them in a pencil case, they are very pleasing-and will now take pride of place on my bedside table.

On the far left, there’s a cute cat notebook; the insides are blank, meaning that any amount of photos could be stuck in. (I just haven’t decided yet as to what the notebook could be used for…) These stickers have also been incredibly useful; having been inspired by the One Million Lovely Letters Project, I’ve been creating bundles of notes, ready for a massive drop off. (I’m planning this with a friend for later in August.) They’ve also made an appearance in various pen pal letters; because who doesn’t love mermaids?!

To finish… two cute rubbers and washi tape! I really liked the Washi Tape-because so PRETTY!-which has been used in all my pen pal letters recently. (It also helped protect my ears, along with Dr Paw Paw, due to some horrible glasses.)

Thank you very much Jenny for partaking in this exchange with me!

I’ve loved all your box swap posts. These are so cool, and it’s really interesting to see what people think you’d like and how they achieve this on such a small budget. I love how it’s not exactly breaking the bank but it’s still a nice ‘thinking of you’ gesture. Great post!

Washi tape is the best! I’m so impressed at what everyone has been able to come up with for these box swaps, and as you know, I love what you sent me! I’m looking forward to seeing what else you swap with people. Oh! And I bought some stationery at a library sale yesterday, because you’ve inspired me to send more letters!

    xx
