As somebody with Asperger’s syndrome, organisation is very important to me; I have to plan my days, know what everyone else is doing. Added to this various things: column and homework deadlines; a vague revision schedule; interviews; blog posts to write and more. I was in need of a planner.
My planner’s have variously been chronicled on this blog; I had, and alternated between, two personal sized Filofaxes; they both grew messy, as well as consequently becoming unkempt. I also had an A5 planner from Paperchase; this was too big to cart around, therefore again being of little use. In the intermission, I started a bullet journal-well, my own version, at least. I haven’t got the usual layouts; rather, I divided it into diary and a misc section. Want to look inside?
I have up until July plotted in this notebook (also from Paperchase.) At the beginning is a ‘month at a glance’ with long term projects that month; as you can see here, I have a blog interview response pencilled in.
Following on from that, I have Monday to Sunday, then a notes page, then it repeats all over again. Then, from June, I have a goals page also. Gotta pass my exams!
I love to decorate! There is just something very cathartic. In blue are the blog posts for that day-this is over two days of a guest posting week I held not too long ago. I also (try to) keep track of revision tasks: I don’t do well with a timetable, so I set three asks for that day. In orange is my ‘To do’ list; I also keep track of my correspondence-what I receive and post-as well as questions for my lecturers, phone bill days, and Twitter chat reminders.
As I’m sure you’re all aware, the UK is having an election soon; it’ll be the first time I can vote. I have the deadline for voter registration to vote. There’s also my weekly pilates session-as I have poor balance-and what I’ll be baking that week. (It’s a long story, but I have baked for my politics class.)
I also keep Post-its; these relate to blog emails, brands to pitch to. Others relate to my blog relaunch.
July! This is the month introductory page; as you can see, these post-its are reminders, such as for giveaways, blog projects, and more.
As a way to divide up the diary into two sections, I collaged it. There’s Queen, Natalie Portman, Chanel….all the best things!
There are various things from here on; I’ll show you just a few:
A list of hashtags and chats for Twitter! As a blogger, my stats rely on my social media; I have to stay on top of it. Because…..I want you all to read what I have to say, really. I would love to create a community here.
This is a monthly layout for the relaunch:
There are Twitter chats, giveaways, and some lovely content…I hope to go self hosted. But I would love to import all my WordPress stuff to Blogger prior to doing so. Can anyone help? I need you!
My relaunch to do list! So much to do…
My mind is also a compulsive wonderer…I am very curious about this world. Whilst watching Designated Survivor, I doodled a list of questions for me to ask Google.
And in case I run out of Blog post ideas?
