So yes, another tag; a goal of mine is to interact with the people who read my blog, so here goes! (I originally saw this tag here.)
What’s your middle name?
My middle name is Keren, but not Karen. Try telling anyone and they can’t spell it!
What’s your favorite colour?
That changes over time, but currently I would say it’s pink-as you can see from my blog theme. It was Yellow when I was a child, but I also love blue.
Who was your first best friend?
I don’t think I’ve ever had a best friend; it’s something I don’t really subscribe to, because, yeah, Aspergers.
How tall are you?
Not tall enough!
Preference: Cats or Dogs?
Cats, always. Larger dogs are animals that scare me, for various reasons.
Funniest moment in School?
For me it was probably seeing a history teacher at GCSE doing an impression of a historical figure, or in my second year at A levels, as my politics lecturer was hilarious.
How many countries have you visited?
Are you in/gone to college?
What was your favorite/worst subject in secondary school?
I loved history, even though I did struggle; English was okay, but the change of teacher was not helpful. (Aspie!) I disliked Maths, as I have no real understanding of number.
What is your Favorite drink?
Depends on the mood I’m in; if I’m happy or need cheering up, I go for Rose Lemonade. If I wish to be left alone or have a cold, elderflower or a hot strawberry Ribena. If I need to be sociable, I go for a Bulmers cider.
What is your favorite animal?
A Persian cat.
What is your favorite perfume?
I have three: Wonderstruck, Royal Desire, and Coco Mademoiselle. (Fits the blog name)
Tea or Coffee?
What would you (or have you) name your children?
Oh blimey…I’m only eighteen! Probably something really traditional, just to be a bit conformist, and not go along with the celebrity trend.
What Sports do you play/Have you played?
I don’t play competitively, as in a team, but I love to play Badminton. I also attend Pilates, which I love-the most peaceful time of the week.
What is your favorite book?
I could not just pick one book! So, in no particular order: House Rules by Jodi Picoult, as she created a character accurately with ASD; The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath (classic!) ; Searching For Grace Kelly by M.G.Callahan, for the use of language; How To Stop Time by Matt Haig, as it’s romantic in a way-not just for sex; How To Stop Time by Rowan Coleman, as I love the twist, and the last line made me cry; Boys In The Trees by Carly Simon, as her life is so intriguing, and she’s such a good storyteller; the Diary Of Anne Frank, as it was an early onset ASD special interest; and Man Of Letters by Spike Milligan, as it is once absurd, hideous, then tender.
Who are your favorite YouTubers?
I don’t really understand Youtube, so I could not pick any to be honest.
What is your favourite film?
I have a list! I love The Devil Wears Prada, for the dark side of Journalism it shows; Thirteen Going On Thirty, as it deals with loneliness; 27 Dresses-just for the Filofax, which takes centre stage; Highlander, as I love the story and the music; and Burlesque, as I love the music, the costumes..
Are you Single or Taken?
What’s your idea of an ideal first date?
That’s a question I never thought I would have to answer. And to be honest, I don’t really know.
How many Girlfriends/Boyfriends have you had?
Favourite memory from childhood?
In the UK, you’re considered a child until the age of eighteen…so there’s a wealth of stuff there. Meeting Brian May was quite something; the letter stating that I secured a column with a local newspaper was also a favourite. My first cover is also up there. Getting my mother to see Lissie as my ‘plus one’ is something that I will always remember. Being told “no one cares about your Autism” in the nicest way possible was also a favourite.
Do you speak any different languages and how well?
I wish I could.
Do you have any siblings?
One sister, three brother.
How would you describe your fashion sense?
I have a problem with fashion; it’s about what’s in one season, then seemingly becoming a clothes horse. I don’t really follow it. But I try to have my ‘own take’-and yes, I have been mocked for that. So, probably a dress or skirt, and a leather jacket.
What is your favorite restaurant?
Easy Ed’s Diner.
What are some of your favorite tv shows?
So, I may or may not have included some Netflix shows; Line Of Duty, The Missing, In The Club, Pretty Little Liars, Orange Is The New Black,Designated Survivor.. But I would love to watch Girl Boss, Good Girls Revolt, and Z.
PC or mac?
What phone do you have? (iOS v Android?)
Tell us one of your bad habits!
I am a very messy person; but I really wish I wasn’t. I also think that I can lack faith in myself at times, as well as panicking over small details. Oh, and I spend way too much time on this blog!
I tag any other Blogger who wishes to do this.
