Filofax: a how to guide.

The other day, I was reading a great post about ‘how to bullet-journal’(click here to read.) Whilst reading, it struck me that there doesn’t seem to be such a thing for a Filofax.. so here’s my version!

You will need:

  • A Filofax (obviously! )
  • Stickers
  • Writing implements
  • Sticky notes
  • Buisness cards

First of all, I started with the diary. It’s a basic directory of where I’m going, what I’m doing. But plain white is just hideous ..

Being a blogger, I post it in any post designated for that week that’s unscheduled. But I also like to highlight randomly, and stick in stickers. (Spot the cat!)

It also acts as a tracker : as an aspergic person, it’s a way to almost manage..

Pocket it.

I have three pockets to contain other things : buisness cards, vouchers, as well as old gig tickets. Depending whether you wish your planner to be bulky or not, choose as many as you wish..

Tab it up.

A pile of paper is a confusing thing.I use the tabs I have just to make sense of the amount of sheer detail my Filofax holds.
