Much to the disgust of some relatives, this week, I bought the above book. After interviewing the two lovely women authors (Holly Baxter and Rhiannon Lucy Cosslett), I thought it was my turn to read.
I wasn’t disappointed at all.
I have to say, this is one of my favorite books I have read yet.
A deeply analytical look at the world of magazine trade, it was really easy to read- made enjoyable by the occasional funny metaphor, assonance,or expletive. ..
I wouldn’t advise it for young readers though.
I liked particularly the little illustrations, in top hand corners of every few pages- often used to rehome a point made, some where also particularly funny.
A great read.
I give you ten out of ten-I look forward to (if there ever will be) sequel.
